Sound Of Silence - 33 Years After Nuclear Disaster -Photography Exhbition
Multiple dates from Saturday, June 8th to Friday, June 28th
Following explosion on 26th of April 1986 at Chernobyl's reactor number four, radioactive material spread across much of the Northern Hemisphere. Thirty-three years on, the power plant is surrounded by both a hushed desolation and a buzz of activity: the sense of a ruined past and a difficult future.
In March of 2019, nearly 33 years after the disaster, I ventured into The Zone to see what it was like today...
The official opening of the exhibition will take place on June 8th from 3 pm to 5 pm.
The exhibition is free of charge and will be open daily from Monday to Saturday 9.30 am - 5.30 pm until the end of June.
