Event Summary

Join us for heritage week at Nano Nagle Place!

If your pastime is upcycling or restoring old furniture you’ll love this talk and handling session with furniture and Art Historian Claudia Kinmonth. You’ll hear about how functional objects from the past were designed for maximum sustainability.

Claudia will be bringing her latest objects for handling, discussion and observation. These include flour bags (commonly & imaginatively repurposed and recycled), crocks, cow horn spoons and even some small seats. Claudia is also happy to give explanations and opinions about any 'old things' that people bring along (you can also bring photos of larger items like dressers etc).

This is a heritage week event and it's FREE.

Price: Free
