Greg Long Memorial Poc Fáda

Coachford Family Festival in conjunction with Aghabullogue Camogie Club presents the very first POC FÁDA in memory of Greg Long on Friday 12th of July.The route is from the Coachford Greenway to the Ambush to avoid all traffic.
Registration is €10 per team, consisting of three members, takes place at 7:00pm and the first POC will commence at 7:30 by special guests. All proceeds to charity. It promises to be a great evening of hurling!
All roads end in O'Riordans bar Coachford, where the prizes will be awarded, along with sandwiches. There will be prizes for each category including First, Second and Third Place teams, Winner in the juvenille section (full team of u16 players), and best female team.
Greg Long was a proud member, and talented player of Aghabullogue GAA, playing both hurling and football. He is remembered as a man 'with a hurley in his hand and a smile on his face'. Greg also went on to play with both Muskerry and Cork, and is especially remembered wearing the iconic green and white no. 9 jersey.
